Herding cats (band members….)

Managing a band is a lot like herding cats. Here's how to keep your members organised, aligned and gig-ready.

If you have ever run a band, despite how much you may love them, you know what a pain in the ass it can be to organise and communicate with your band members. As fellow musicians, we have felt your pain – so we did something about it!

Hot Giggity allows you to create an act (duo, trio, four piece, 10 piece, even an entire 99 piece orchestra) and then add players to your line up. You can then book and communicate with them in once place. No more emails, Facebook, Whatsapp or text messages.

How does it work??

You can use HG’s intuitive functionality to invite your band mates to the platform adding them to a specific instrument in your act.

“What if I use more than one player for a specific instrument?” I hear you ask?

We have you covered there too! You can add as many players to each instrument as you like.

You can assign a default gig fee percentage split to each player – or if you prefer, you can assign a default fee per gig to each player.

Once the act is set up, when ever that act is sent a booking request, or you create a booking for the act, you can then choose which players you want to do the gig and assign individual gig fees for the gig.

Invites will be sent out to your players notifying them (via the HG smartphone app) of the gig, the fee, the worksheet, what to wear etc. You can then assign set lists for each gig which are automatically distributed to your players.

You will get notified when your band members have accepted the gig and their invoice will automatically appear in your incoming invoices tab.

We have even included messaging functionality, contained within the gig booking, that allows you to communicate with your band members just about that gig! All from the convenience of your mobile device!

To experience this ‘gig life changing’ tech and stop herding cats, sign up to Hot Giggity today!
